Pongo Pet Groomers – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to Purdy & Pongo Pet Groomers. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These are designed to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and satisfaction of both your pet and our staff.

2. Services
Purdy & Pongo offers professional grooming services for cats and dogs, including bathing, brushing, clipping, nail trimming, and specialty grooming. Services are subject to availability and pet suitability.

3. Appointments & Cancellations

• Booking: Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Walk-ins may be accommodated subject to availability.

• Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Failure to provide notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the grooming fee.

• Late Arrivals: Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment rescheduled and may incur a late fee.

4. Pet Health & Behaviour

• Owners must disclose any known medical or behavioral issues prior to the grooming session.

• Aggressive or severely anxious pets may be refused service for their own safety and that of our staff.

• In the case of fleas, ticks, or parasites, an additional cleaning or treatment fee will apply.

 
5. Pricing & Payments

• All prices are subject to change based on breed, size, coat condition, and pet behavior.

• Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept cash, card, and mobile payments.

• We reserve the right to refuse service for non-payment or repeated cancellations.

 
6. Liability

• While we take every precaution to ensure your pet’s safety and comfort, grooming carries inherent risks, particularly for older, anxious, or medically compromised animals.

• Purdy & Pongo is not liable for pre-existing conditions or outcomes related to undisclosed health issues.

• If veterinary care is deemed necessary, we will attempt to contact the owner first. Any veterinary costs incurred will be the responsibility of the pet owner.

 
7. Photos & Marketing
With your consent, we may take photographs of your pet before or after grooming to share on our website or social media. If you do not wish your pet’s image to be used, please let us know at the time of service.

8. Customer Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service to clients who behave inappropriately or disrespectfully toward our staff or other customers.

9. Changes to Terms
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time. Updated terms will be posted in-store and on our website.
